In this website one can find information about Rural Affairs and the Paying Agency in Malta. The Rural Affairs deals with policies and measures that aim to develop the agricultural sector and make use of agricultural land sustainable within the regulatory framework and guidelines of the EU Common Agriculture Policy.
The Paying Agency’s main purpose is accept, process and authorise aid applications and effect payments to beneficiaries in accordance with the Community rules. Only expenditure incurred by accredited paying agencies may be the subject of Community financing.
