National Conference on Europe’s Common Agricultural Policy

The National Conference on Europe’s Common Agricultural Policy; Now & Beyond is being held on Monday 14th June 2010 from 8.30am at The Palace Hotel, Sliema.

The National Conference will include presentations on how the CAP functions at present as well as on the future of the CAP after 2013. The presentations will be delivered by local and foreign experts. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss relevant issues during thematic workshops. The National Conference should be of particular interest to farmers, agriculturalists, agricultural co-operatives, students, experts on EU policies and agriculture, people involved in the tourism sector and the general public. The outcomes of the conference and workshops will lead to a publication entitled CAP for All. We strongly urge you to participate.

Your expression of interest to participate in the conference should reach MEUSAC offices by not later than noon of Thursday 10th June 2010.
